System Description

“Back of the Envelope” System Diagram

At a high level, the system is envisioned to work as follows:   A user employing their favorite communications interface, e.g., Telegram or Alexa, connects to the BIT AI avatar for a particular purpose. User requests flow into the ‘botVisor’ which is CEN’s communications expert.  It decides when Human intervention is required and also directs the request to the appropriate system. It also interacts with users’ secure profiles to retrieve, with permission, contextual personal information. In this example, we show connection to a conversational bot which utilizes the BIT knowledge base in conjunction with adapters to various products and services over via the CEN “Out Cry” network that provides a backbone for connecting bots to core intelligence and product & service APIs.

Service Providers can make use of the entire BIT ecosystem or can utilize portions as they see fit to facilitate the best experience for the intelligence and services they are making available.  There are several opportunities for adding value and “mining” including:

  •      Authoring Intelligence,
  •      Verifying Intelligence
  •      Moderating as a Human backup to the knowledge base,
  •      Running compute services for the network,
  •      Offering services to the users of the network.

Some products and services in the ecosystem will involve charges to the end user. Like advertising, referral fees, and sales commissions, these will generate revenue for the BIT network as well as the experts that maintain the knowledge around these services.   Like Google’s initial search monetization strategy, the BIT project will focus on providing quality intelligence first and the income from its usefulness will flow naturally.
